ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) is a science devoted to improving socially significant behavior. For children with autism, these behaviors include communication, socialization, academic skills, play and daily living skills such as toileting, feeding, and dressing. Most often, Unwanted behaviors such as tantrums, aggravation, and self-injury are a means of communication with parents and caregivers. ABA-based interventions work to replace these behaviors with more appropriate and effective means of communication.
