Mikaela graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and minor in Psychology. She earned a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2025. Her passion for working with children with autism began during her undergraduate years, when she gained hands-on experience through therapy technician work and volunteer opportunities. She is especially passionate about supporting children with autism in building confidence, independence, and functional life skills through play-based and sensory-informed interventions. In her free time, Mikaela enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new restaurants!
