Regan Appleton is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a State Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (SCABA) in the state of Louisiana. She was born and raised in Baton Rouge, and graduated Summa cum laude from Louisiana State University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She started working at GulfSouth in June 2021 as a Registered Line Technician to explore the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She has always had a passion for working with children with special needs, and GulfSouth provided her with an avenue to obtain new skills and grow in the field with help from her supervisors. Regan received her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorder in December 2023. After working as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), she passed her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification exam in May 2025. She emphasizes the importance of close collaboration and communication with caregivers and other providers in the clinic (speech and occupational therapy) to ensure treatment generalizes outside of the clinic. Regan is excited and looking forward to working closely with clients and their families to teach new skills while increasing independence, communication, and self-advocacy for her clients.
